Single prints and book+folio of Hiroshi Sugimoto's "ON THE BEACH" are now available for purchase
Sugimoto's newest unpublished work ON THE BEACH are now available for purchase in single prints and Book+folio.
Sugimoto visited the seas of New Zealand back in 1990 when he was continuing on his Seascapes series. There he found and photographed a group of objets on the beach.
"Persevering with my lonely task on the deserted beach, I half-succumbed to the notion that human civilization had ended. The sight of crafted objects rotting away is at once dreadful and beautiful," Hiroshi Sugimoto speaks of his experience in his writing Time's Yardstick, which is included in the new photo book.
Both the single prints and the book+folio are numbered in editions and include Sugimoto's autograph.
