amanasalto (Shanghai) is pleased to present the contemporary Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki’s (b. 1940) solo exhibition “A’s Platinum” from September 12 - October 10, 2015 in amanasalto’s Shanghai space. This exhibition features Araki’s latest series Love on the Left Eye and one of his unpublished travel photography series Hong Kong Kiss.

 

In this solo exhibition and our booth at Photo Shanghai 2015, all eight pairs of platinum and palladium prints from the series Love on the Left Eye will be shown together for the first time in Shanghai. Meanwhile, we are also pleased to present a rare travel photography series Hong Kong Kiss which Araki has captured almost 20 years ago and released in photographic prints for the first time this year.

 

Both series exhibited in the show are platinum and palladium prints produced by amanasalto.
