The Book + Folio Series is, in literal terms, a combination of "Book" (of photographs bound together) and "Folio" (photograph prints), with a limited special edition. "Book + Folio" has already become very popular and established as a collector's item in Europe and the United States, and we amanasalto produce them by selecting top quality photo books and collaborating with different photographers and publishers. Our edition boxes are designed by renowned art directors who are active in both Japan and overseas, and each one of them are hand made by highly skilled craftspeople in Japan.

This special edition is created from a collaboration between amanasalto and worldwide recognized Daido Moriyama, who has a great impact upon the next generation of photographers. The set consists of the photo book View from the Laboratory, published in 2013 by Kawade Shobo Shinsha, and one world's top class platinum print by amanasalto.

The "jittery, rough and blurry" expressionistic art style created through particles, combined with our platinum printing technique, is attracting attention from art collectors worldwide.
